
Description
Double Vertical Beam Roller Gantry is a lifting equipment used for heavy material handling, widely used in ports, warehouses, steel mills, construction sites and other places. Its structure consists of two vertical main beams and multiple support columns to form a stable portal frame. An electric hoist or winch is installed on the top of the equipment, which can move along the track on the main beam to achieve horizontal and vertical handling of materials. The bottom is equipped with rollers or rubber wheels to facilitate the movement of the equipment on the ground and adapt to different working environments.

Double column structure
Double Vertical Beam Roller Gantry uses two vertical columns and a beam to form the main frame structure, and the overall layout is a closed gantry rigid frame. Compared with the single column structure, the double column can effectively improve the bending stiffness and roll resistance of the system in the span direction. The beam bears the main motion mechanism load-bearing task, and the double columns evenly share the longitudinal load, and the static stiffness of the overall structure is increased by about 25%~30%. This structural optimization enables it to maintain a lateral deformation within ±0.1mm under the condition of a lateral span of more than 2 meters, which is suitable for automation scenarios that require both precision and heavy loads.
Roller guide system
This product uses roller guides as sliding pairs to achieve low-friction linear motion along the beam and vertical direction. Compared with sliding guides, the dynamic friction coefficient of the roller mechanism can be reduced to below 0.02, the heat generation during operation is small, the wear rate is low, and it is suitable for long-stroke and high-frequency operating environments. With high-resolution encoder (resolution up to 0.001mm) and servo drive system, the overall positioning accuracy can be controlled within ±0.05mm, and the repeated positioning error is less than 0.02mm. It can still maintain high trajectory consistency under large stroke conditions, meeting the needs of multi-axis collaborative motion.
Multi-degree-of-freedom compound motion execution
The actuator installed on the beam integrates servo motors, reducers and transmission components, which can realize a variety of linear or rotational motion modes. Its drive unit can support 3~6 axial expansions, and the maximum effective stroke can reach more than 3000mm. The beam rises and falls along the direction of the double columns, and the slide on the beam has the ability of compound motion in the X and Y directions at the same time, which can complete multi-functional operations such as grasping, handling, rotation and positioning. The system axis collaboration is uniformly dispatched by the motion controller and controlled by the bus communication protocol (such as EtherCAT) to ensure that the multi-axis synchronization error is less than 0.01 seconds, and high-precision trajectory tracking under complex paths is achieved.
