NV1270 5 Axis Vertical Machining Center

The 5 axes function greatly improved the capability of the NV-1270 vertical machining center. All critical machining features can be completed within one setup, eliminating the impact of repeat positioning errors caused by multiple setups and greatly improving the machining accuracy of the product.

NV-1270 designed and manufactured based on customer requirements enable it to possess many unique features. Despite of its traditional C-type structure design, NV-1270 has higher rigidity and larger swing space while maintaining high preci- sion through the optimization of its structure and high quality components.

The permanently greased spindle bearings require no mainte- nance. The 8,000 rpm spindle is driven by a (17kW) AC servo motor. Rigid tapping is standard.
The coolant nozzles around the spindle are fully adjustable for various tool lengths. The through spindle coolant also is available as an option.
Customers can choose different power and torque levels for the spindle according to their product requirements. They can also select spindles of different specifications to achieve higher torque or higher speeds.
The spindle can also be chosen from different tool holder types. Customers can opt for BT50, SK50, or HSK A100. Addi- tionally, a customized HSK A63 spindle with higher speed is available with maximum speed up to 24000rpm.
The disc-type magazine of 24 tools with cam drive mechanism has a simple structure, easy maintenance, and long service life.

With a large swing diameter of 700mm and a 2-axis rotary table, the NV-1270 can machine many parts that traditionally require a horizontal machining center with 630mm table. Parts such as steering gear housings and long-arm steering knuckles can beefficiently machined while maintaining high precision.
