Description
The 5 Axis Gantry Machining Center is a CNC machining equipment with a gantry structure and five-axis linkage function. It is mainly composed of a fixed crossbeam, a movable worktable, a vertical slide and a spindle head with two rotating axes. It can realize multi-angle linkage processing of workpieces in the directions of X, Y, Z linear axes and A, C rotation axes, and is suitable for the manufacturing of large parts with high precision and high complexity.
Features
Five-axis linkage structure
The 5 Axis Gantry Machining Center adopts a five-axis linkage structure, which can simultaneously control the five axes of X, Y, Z, A, and C, and realize linkage processing at any angle in space. Compared with three-axis models, five-axis machining can complete multi-faceted composite machining in a single clamping, reduce the error accumulation caused by repositioning, and improve the processing capability of complex curved surfaces (such as aviation blades, mold cavities, etc.), with a higher level of flexibility.
Support for ultra-large workpiece processing
The maximum X-axis travel of this series of equipment can reach 16500mm, the Y-axis 5500mm, and the Z-axis up to 1500mm, covering the processing needs of various large structural parts. The worktable size ranges from 4000×2000mm to 6000×4000mm. A single device can complete the processing of ultra-large parts at one time, avoiding the splicing of multiple machines. Large workpieces are frequently used in industries such as heavy equipment manufacturing, rail transportation and ships. Five-axis machine tools with a stroke greater than 8000mm can cover about 90% of the ultra-long structural parts processing scenarios.
High-power spindle
The equipment is equipped with BT50 or HSK A100 spindle specifications, with an optional maximum output power of 49kW, a standard speed of 3000rpm, and an optional maximum of 6000rpm. With the maximum rapid feed speed of the X/Y/Z axes of 20/20/18m/min (NGM2040 model), it effectively reduces non-cutting time and improves overall cycle efficiency. For every 10% increase in spindle power, combined with reasonable tool path optimization, the overall removal rate can be increased by 12%-15%, which is especially suitable for high-speed cutting requirements of high-strength alloys and high-hardness materials.
Stable processing quality
The positioning accuracy of the X/Y/Z axes of all models reaches 0.008mm/1000mm, and the repeated positioning accuracy reaches 0.004mm/1000mm, which meets the VDI precision standard. High precision is achieved through the gantry frame structure with large-section guide rails and grating scale feedback control system. When the positioning accuracy is controlled below 0.01mm, the first-time yield of complex parts can be increased by 20%-30%, reducing the rework rate and processing defects.
