NHC-40 Horizontal Machining Center
4 Axis Horizontal Machining Center is a device that adds a fourth axis rotation function to the traditional three-axis CNC machining center. Its worktable is arranged horizontally and equipped with a rotatable B axis, so that the workpiece can be processed at multiple angles. 4-axis horizontal machining centers are widely used in aerospace, automobile manufacturing, mold processing and other fields, and are suitable for high-precision processing of complex parts.
Features
High machining accuracy
NHC-A40 adopts a box-in-box structure design, with the X-axis as a horizontal slide, the Y-axis spindle box arranged vertically, and the Z-axis as a worktable moving forward and backward. This design helps to reduce geometric deviations caused by gravity or machining inertia. The X/Y/Z axis travel is 800 mm, covering the needs of general medium-sized workpieces. All axes are equipped with roller linear guides (INA/Rexroth), which increase the load capacity by more than 30% compared with the common slide load in the industry. All three axes are equipped with FAGOR grating scales as standard, and with the FANUC Oi-MF control system, the actual positioning accuracy reaches 0.008 mm, and the repeatability is controlled at 0.005 mm.
Strong multi-condition cutting capability
NHC-A40 is equipped with an HSK-A100 electric spindle with a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm and a rated power of 18.5 kW/26 kW (Y-type/△-type connection). The peak power can reach 45 kW and the peak torque can reach 512 Nm under S6-25% working conditions. Compared with similar products such as Doosan NHP4000 with a spindle peak torque of 420 Nm, NHC-A40 has stronger heavy-duty cutting capabilities and is suitable for cutting high-strength materials such as titanium alloy and mold steel.
Four-axis rotary table
The machine tool is equipped with a precision A-axis CNC rotary table with a diameter of 400 mm, supporting 0.001° high-resolution continuous indexing, a maximum rotation diameter of 500 mm, and a maximum load capacity of 500 kg. The structure adopts worm gear drive, high rotation rigidity, and repeated positioning accuracy of 6 arc seconds. The A-axis can be equipped with FAGOR or Heidenhain circular gratings to improve the positioning accuracy in multi-axis linkage processing scenarios.
Efficient tool magazine and high-speed feed combination
The equipment is equipped with a 40-station robot-type tool magazine (ATC) as standard, with a T-T tool change time of only 3 seconds, supporting a maximum tool diameter of 110 mm (220 mm when there is no adjacent tool), a maximum length of 400 mm, and a single tool weight of up to 25 kg. With the X/Y/Z axis 60 m/min fast feed speed and 0.6g acceleration, the non-cutting time is shortened. Compared with the conventional similar equipment with 24 knives and 40 m/min feed speed, the overall cycle efficiency of NHC-A40 is improved by about 25%.

NHC-40 Standard Machine Configuration

The machine tool is equipped with a worm gear precision rotary table with a size of Φ400mm. The maximum load is 500kg. The X/Y/Z axes are all equipped with precision grating scales, and the A axis can be equipped with gratings as an option.
